CSR Lens: Social Responsibility in Bangladesh and the Developing World

We often tend to examine Corporate Social Responsibility as something coming from "developed" countries, offering programs and initiatives to help out those in lesser developed countries. While of course this isn't always the case (many CSR programs are focused on local efforts, volunteering, and community engagement), many large corporate CSR programs involve addressing global issues in developing countries- AIDS, Malaria, Water Access, Microfinance, etc.
