Growing up in a small, rural Utah town has its challenges & limitations. Growing up feeling different, with very few role models or resources can feel alienating. We, at Moab Pride envision beyond our Festival, a year 'round presence in our community. Moab Pride's aim is to benefit the LGBTQ community by introducing Educational and Outreach Programs throughout Southern Utah & the Four Corners Region, to ensure safe schools for all regardless of sexual orientation and/or gender identity/expression. To provide welcoming services, support & information for our community members & the thousands of visitors that come to our hometown for fun & adventure. The organizers see the Festival as a gift to everyone; a chance to bring people together to enjoy the beauty and big heart that is Moab. An event that ENTERTAINS, ENGAGES & DELIGHTS! Ultimately it's the Pride in our community that we want to share with others. Vision: Moab Pride sees a world where all human beings are inspired to engage in their communities; with acceptance of differences & love of what connects us; with commitment to understanding, kindness & equality for all. Mission To encourage understanding & acceptance of everyone and contribute to the overall well-being of the Moab GLBTQ community & beyond. We accomplish this by raising awareness through integrating entertaining & educational programs and events for everyone. Engaging & partnering with the whole community to create a more informed public- challenged & delighted by a deeper understanding of experiences, ideas & motivations.

The mission of RMC is to facilitate centralized and comprehensive medical care management, supportive services, prevention, education, and research in collaboration with communities affected by and infected with HIV. We are also in the process of opening the first non profit pharmacy in Colorado. CARES Pharmacy where all the revenue will be streamlined back into RMC.

Experience Matters connects skilled boomer talent with social sector organizations. The organization has attracted the support of prominent funders and leading think-tank organizations, built a solid customer base of skilled boomer talent, established an effective staffing and infrastructure, and created a buzz in the community.

Our mission is compassionate and non-judgemental care, prevention, education and advocacy for people living with HIV/AIDS, their loved ones, caregivers, and communities at large.

PLAN’s mission is to build collective strategic action among coalition partners in order to deepen democracy and achieve greater social justice in Nevada. Since 1994, we have worked to bring together diverse and potentially competing organizations into one cohesive force for transformational change in Nevada. Our 32 coalition member groups include the largest labor unions in the state, LGBT, conservation and women’s groups, civil rights organizations, Latino organizations, Native American Tribes, and anti-poverty advocacy groups. Our key strategies include research, political education and training, leadership development, communications, civic engagement, direct action, coalition building, and lobbying.

Dancing Classrooms eliminates bias and promotes positive human relations by teaching students how to respect themselves and others who are different from them.

The Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN) was founded in 1985, and our mission is to empower abused, neglected and homeless adolescents to become self-sufficient. LAYN offers core programs including: emergency shelter, drop-in center, a street outreach program, long-term housing, and a transitional living program for youth ages from 12-21. LAYN offers a continuum of care to runaway, homeless youth which consists of three steps: engage, care, and prepare. Because this set of coordinated, individualized services can be adapted to meet the needs of any youth, we are prepared to achieve our overarching goal: to end homelessness, one youth at a time.

With no strings attached, Puppetry Arts provides a unique and diverse outreach of visual and performing arts by professional instructors and performers with help from student and community volunteers as well as foundation and corporate support. Our programs extend into Arts In Education, Puppetry Theatre, Community Outreach, and the Youth Empowerment Program.

Since 1915, the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR) has carried on programs and educational projects concerned with domestic and international peace and justice, nonviolent alternatives to conflict, and the rights of conscience. A nonviolent, interfaith, tax-exempt organization, FOR promotes nonviolence and has members from many religious and ethnic traditions. It is a part of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation (IFOR), which has branches or affiliates in more than 50 countries.
