Why TKF?

16 young people are murdered on average each day in the United States, that’s more than 5,500 preventable deaths each year.  Homicide is the second leading cause of death of young people between the ages of 10 and 24, only trailing unintentional accidents, that’s more lives lost than from cancer, HIV, heart disease and suicide.

Spokane Valley Partners, serves as the only comprehensive source of social services between the Spokane City Limits and the Idaho border. Including a Clothing Bank, Food Bank, Emergency Assistance for utilities, prescriptions and other essentials, protective payee services, Have-A-Heart Valentine Program, Smart Start School Supplies and Coats 4 Kids. SVP also runs programs of its own to provide needed goods and services to low income families in our service area.

The mission of the Spokane Valley Partners is to provide basic life necessities, teach life skills that promote self-reliance, address emotional and psychological needs. We do this by collaborating with other charitable and government agencies to enrich the quality of community life.
