The artists behind Dreamworks

To compliment a recent publication of work done by the artists of Dreamworks Animation, this 5 minute documentary was done to show a little glimpse into their process. The best part is the artists themselves, each being a little cartoonish in their own way. -NS

A fundraiser, a birthday boy… an artist!

Our favorite representation of the new FS 250 drilling rig we hope to fund through September Campaign, coming from six-year-old Mackenzie of Cumbernauld, Scotland:

Mackenzie turned six a week ago. His campaign goal was to raise $300 to help fund our new drilling rig — and he’s blown through that to raise nearly $900!

TuxPaint contest for kids, with Sugary prizes

The Tux Paint dev team last week announced a 2011 summer drawing contest, with prizes including three OLPC XO-1′s, Sugar-on-a-Stick drives, and TuxPaint shirts.  All children 3-12 are encouraged to submit their best Tux Paint art; the best 10 drawings will receive prizes. The contest is sponsored and judged by the retail company Worldlabel, which will showcase the winning art on their blog.
