Scottsdale, Arizona — Go Ride for Semper Fi! The ride kicked off October 12 in Scottsdale, Arizona and will end at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego on October 15.
This is the fourth year for the ride which takes place over 3 days and covers 430-mile. The Ride for Semper Fi’s goal is to raise over $300,000 to benefit the Semper Fi Fund.

Which is why he spends pretty much all his time checking up on wounded warriors at Naval Medical Center San Diego and helping military families who are trapped in bureaucratic limbo.

Sonoma, CA – The Wine Country Marines’ Annual “Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball” is set for Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, CA. This will also be the 26th Anniversary of the Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball with proceeds from the evening being donated to the Semper Fi Fund.
The Wine Country Marines are long time supporters of the Fund. Since 2007, their annual event has raised nearly $50,000 in support for the Semper Fi Fund and our injured service members and their families.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Thousands of runners retraced the steps of hero firefighter Stephen Siller during the annual Tunnel to Towers Run Sunday morning.
Nearly 30,000 people followed in Siller’s footsteps, including New York City Fire Commissioner Sal Cassano and a dozen wounded soldiers.

City of Industry, CA — The Land of the Free Foundation is pleased to be partnered with the Pacific Palms and Conference Center in the City of Industry California and the Industry Hills Golf Club to play host to the annual “Land of the Free Veterans Day Golf Classic”. This event will be held on Friday November 11, 2011.
The Land of the Free Foundation was started to recognize the men and woman of our armed services past, present and future and their families who work and sacrifice every day to ensure we will always live in the “Land of the Free.”
