36th Running of the Marine Corps Marathon!

Washington, DC – The Semper Fi Fund will have over 800 community runners and over 50 Team Semper Fi members running in the 2011 Marine Corps Marathon — making the SFF the largest charity group on the MCM course on October 30!!

Ride for Semper Fi 2011

Scottsdale, Arizona — Go Ride for Semper Fi! The ride kicked off October 12 in Scottsdale, Arizona and will end at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego on October 15.
This is the fourth year for the ride which takes place over 3 days and covers 430-mile. The Ride for Semper Fi’s goal is to raise over $300,000 to benefit the Semper Fi Fund.

Wine Country Marines’ Annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball

Sonoma, CA – The Wine Country Marines’ Annual “Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball” is set for Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, CA. This will also be the 26th Anniversary of the Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball with proceeds from the evening being donated to the Semper Fi Fund.
The Wine Country Marines are long time supporters of the Fund. Since 2007, their annual event has raised nearly $50,000 in support for the Semper Fi Fund and our injured service members and their families.

Thousands Honor Fallen Firefighter In Tunnel To Towers Run

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Thousands of runners retraced the steps of hero firefighter Stephen Siller during the annual Tunnel to Towers Run Sunday morning.
Nearly 30,000 people followed in Siller’s footsteps, including New York City Fire Commissioner Sal Cassano and a dozen wounded soldiers.

Land of the Free Veterans Day Golf Classic 2011
