PoPStar of the Week: Tessa Young

This week our PoPStar is a perfect example of how ONE person with a little passion and ambition can contribute to a great cause! Tessa Young, of Charlotte, North Carolina, took her love for the PoP mission, combined it with her entrepreneurial spirit, and organized a fantastic little fund raiser to help raise money and awareness for the PoP movement. We were very impressed with her efforts and think she’s a great example of what it takes to be a PoPStar! Read below for more details on exactly how Tessa went about supporting PoP!

PoPStars of the Week: Lauren & Amanda

Last week, the PoP team had the privilege of meeting some very passionate supporters through our Tinychat session. One in particular left us very impressed! Lauren Ide, and her friend Amanda, have found a unique and fascinating way to support the PoP movement: designing and selling home-made bracelets, by using nothing more than recycled can tabs, ribbon, and a little love! While still young, Lauren and Amanda show that passion and dedication have no age requirements.

PoPStar of the Week: Parker Burris

It’s time once again for our weekly PoP Star! Parker Burris, a 17 year old artist from Dallas, Texas, sent us the email below and we were instantly moved by his passion as well as his incredible talent. Parker has a genuine understanding of PoP’s mission and found a great way to combine his artistic and creative ability to support the PoP movement, which is amazing! Please be sure to check out his portfolio at parkerburris.com !
