Short Organization Description:
Storytelling is our tool; students are our passion. Everyone has a story yet communicating that story can often be a struggle. The Story Project, through our one-of-a-kind project-based curriculum, works with at-risk and underserved middle and high school students in an effort to improve communication, discovery and imagination, one story at a time.
Do you remember your favorite bedtime story? How about a song from your childhood that couldn’t help but make you happy, or a newspaper comic strip that you eagerly awaited every Sunday to read? Stories, in all their shapes and sizes, are what motivate our lives, goals and ambitions while allowing us to communicate our needs, wants and loves.
