Arcos Dorados, the company that operates nearly 1,700 McDonald's restaurants in Latin America, announced a grassroots effort today to help disaster relief efforts in Haiti.  From January 16th to January 22nd, all McDonald's restaurants operated by Arcos Dorados will be pledging 50 cents from each Big Mac sandwich and Big Mac Extra Value Meals to help Haiti.   Yup, you heard it right.
