On March 11, 2011, an 8.9/9.0 earthquake – one of the largest in recorded history- and subsequent tsunami hit Japan, causing extensive damage across a large part of the country. The death toll is high and the number of displaced and homeless is even higher.
 

The floods that have submerged large areas of Pakistan are the worst in living memory. Direct results from the floods: submerged roads and bridges cutting off survivors from critical supplies of medicine, food and clean water.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to all who have been and continue to be affected by the devasting earthquake.
